Take and Eat

By Pastor Chad

In my message yesterday, I encouraged everyone to have a daily devotional time. This is a time in which you set aside maybe 10-15 minutes to be fed by God’s word. We also displayed and gave away several devotions that I think you might appreciate.

Devotionals are really person-relative: different devotional methods apply to different folks. Below are the devos we displayed yesterday. If you’d like for the church to purchase one for you, please let us know. If you want to purchase your own, the link is provided.

Brief and practical, these reflections connect the transforming power of Scripture to all you will experience in your everyday Christian life.

In the popular devotional New Morning Mercies, 365 engaging readings lead off with a compelling, gospel-centered thought, followed by an extended meditation for the day. Focused less on behavior modification and more on helping people encounter the living God, this resource equips readers with the good news that they need to trust in God’s goodness, rely on his grace, and live for his glory―day in and day out.
